Dr. Anna Stankiewicz, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and the founder of Advanced Medicine Modern Aesthetics (AMMA). A trusted leader in both medical and aesthetic care, she also owns and operates two urgent care centers in Williamsburg, where she has long been recognized for delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine to the community.
Dr. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Orthopedic Biomechanics from Columbia University, followed by medical school and residency training. With more than two decades of clinical experience, she brings a uniquely integrative and analytical perspective to aesthetic and wellness medicine—bridging science, precision, and thoughtful care.
Beyond aesthetics, Dr. Anna has advanced training as a tick-borne illness specialist, with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of chronic and complex presentations. At AMMA, she provides medical oversight of comprehensive wellness services designed to identify and address underlying imbalances through advanced diagnostic testing and individualized treatment protocols.
Deb Schwedhelm, MSN, RN
Nurse Injector
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Deb is a Master’s-prepared Registered Nurse with a distinguished clinical background and a refined aesthetic sensibility. She graduated from Wayne State University in 1992 and began her medical career as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Air Force. In 2000, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Health Systems Management, building a foundation rooted in clinical excellence, leadership, and patient safety. Deb’s experience spans high-acuity and specialty settings including ICU, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, liver research, and cardiac device coordination.
What truly sets Deb apart is her 20-year career as a professional photographer, which has cultivated an exceptional eye for balance, proportion, and natural beauty. This artistic background seamlessly informs her work in aesthetics, where subtlety, symmetry, and thoughtful enhancement define every treatment.
Deb believes aesthetic medicine is both a science and an art. Her philosophy centers on enhancing, not changing, each patient’s unique features through customized treatment plans and natural-looking results.
